Bailey, Stephanie's canine cousin, just lounging
This is where we stayed in Augusta. Deluxe pool-house extraordinaire!
Todd bonds with Toby. Toby is Bailey's brother.
Stephanie and her cousin Jan. Hi Jan!
Hello Palmetto State!
Palmetto Pride
Todd! Pull over!!!
And order we did.
We got a traditional Meat-and-3.
Good to know. There's a lot of controversy surrounding the "correct" barbecue in these parts.
Thanks Little Joe!
Back on the road. Ugh
Sort of like the Mudville 9 only different.
Another point of pride in South Carolina
Todd made sure we took this picture. What is he saying about Stephanie?
This is what happens to that good Georgia pine when it gets to South Carolina.
South of the Border!
Is this where the movie was made?
Todd is checking for anyone sitting in the shark's mouth.
Hi Fashion! How you doin'?
North Carolina!
Umm
Well, it is a baseball trip.
JR? They have EVERYTHING.
We are in Zebulon, NC to see the Carolina Mudcats (A for Stephanie's Cleveland Indians) play the Potomac Nationals (A for the Washington Nationals). We had been here before when they were affiliated with the Reds but had to return to support the Indians!
We bought our Fishing Licences.
Watertower/scoreboard
A gazillion kids from local t-ball teams on the field for the national anthem. Since it's t-ball, no one is standing with the pitcher!
We guess the people in Zebulon are very trustworthy.
Infield
Outfield
Muddy
Muddy monitors the potato sack race.
Mmm...Bacon! (We may have met this kid's uncle at this ballpark a few years ago!)
Thank you sir. May we have another?
May we have another cookie?
The roaming announcer had the entire stadium sing happy birthday to these two kids!
The future of Stephanie's bullpen.
The future of Stephanie's position players.
Hey! Todd caught a ball!!
He actually caught two and gave one to a kid. We kept the other one.
One of the balls Todd caught was fouled off by Tony Wolters.
Stephanie had the ball signed by Muddy.
The other ball Todd caught was fouled off by Paddy Matera.
Finally! Moon!
Eww! Boiled peanuts!
Fabio Martinez pitches FAST!
WOW!
The homewrecker sandwich...we're guessing it has onions and beans.
It was a slow game, and a lot of people left early. The reported attendance was 2,944.
We are so happy this girl stayed! Who knew there was such a circuit?
It was a really sloppy and long game. 24 runs, 5 errors and over 4 hours. Oy.
Stephanie's Mudcats battled but lost.
Thanks Zebulon!
